How to Convert DBX Files to PST - Easiest free way

This method requires two programs: Windows Live Mail and Office Outlook on the same computer 

This process convert your Outlook Express .dbx file into your Outlook mail files .pst.
1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
2. Open Windows Live Mail.
3. In the Windows Live Mail window, click the File button and select Import Messages then select Microsoft Outlook Express 6.

4. Select Microsoft Exchange as the format and then click Next.

5.After selecting the import type and clicking the Next button from the example above you will be required to browse to the location of the email messages or in the case of Outlook Express 6 the location of the DBX files as shown in the below image. Browse to the location of the DBX files.

6. You will see a message that all email will be exported to Windows Live Mail, click Ok to continue.

7. You can import all email folders or select the appropriate folders that you want to export by using the Select folders option.
8. After you select the appropriate option, click OK and wait for the import process to be completed.
9. When the Import Complete dialog box appears, click Finish.
