How do I add another instance of MS SQL Express

Run the file from the installation version of MSSQL

 

To install a new instance of MSSQL database server, select option

New installation or add features to an existing installation.

Select the options - new installation or add shared features.

We accept licenses from Microsoft

We reaffirm the selected items to be installed - the default option

We create a new instance of the move to Named instance and enter the name here that will be displayed.

Click Next to create the instance

We reaffirm account settings SQL

Select the options Mixed Mode (SQL Server authentication and Windows authentication)

Set the path to the folder or leave them standard.

Uncheck or report errors

We finish adding instance - successfully
